Day 1 WARSAW DEPARTURE TO TBILISI
Flight from Warsaw a/p to Tbilisi by LOT at 22:30.
Day 2 TBILISI ARRIVAL – MTSHKETA - TBILISI
Arrival to Tbilisi by LOT at 04:00 am. Meet your travel company representative. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Breakfast. 10:30 Tbilisi city tour. Visit Abanotubani district, famous for its sulfur baths. Visit Metekhi Church. Visit Narikala fortress to get a superb panoramic view of Tbilisi. Visit St. Trinity Church and the Sioni Cathedral (6th century). Visit Anchiskhati basilica (6th century), the oldest of the surviving city churches. Drive to Mtskheta and visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where the Robe of Jesus Christ is believed to be buried (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Dinner. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3 TBILISI – GORI – UPLISTSIKHE – BORJOMI
Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Drive to Gori, visit Stalin museum. Continue to Uplistsikhe - one of the first cities in the country. It is a city carved in the rock cave history of which starts at the beginning of the Iron Age. Depart to Borjomi, walking tour in Borjomi Park. After excursion transfer to Borjomi hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Borjomi.
Day 4 BORJOMI - KUTAISI – TBILISI
After breakfast depart to Kutaisi (3 hours driving), walking tour in old town, visit Bagrati Cathedral and Gelati Monastery ensemble. 15:00 pm, after excursion transfer to Tbilisi. (4 hours driving). Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Tbilisi hotel.
Day 5 TBILISI – ANANURI – GUDAURI – JVARI PASS – GERGETI –TBILISI
Breakfast. Take the Military Georgian Road across the Caucasus. Visit the Ananuri Castle (7th century). Continue to Jvari pass (2,395m). From the village take ocal jeeps for driving to Gergeti Trinity Church (2,170 m). From there admire a breathtaking view of Mt. Kazbek (5,047m) and return to Tbilisi. Dinner. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 6 TBILISI – KAKHETI –SIGNAGI – BODBE – TELAVI - TBILISI
Breakfast. Drive to Kakheti region. Visit fortified city of Signagi and Bodbe nunnery. Free time for walking. Continue to Telavi and visit Tsinandali museum. Try Georgian wine Tsinandali in their wine cellar. Return to Tbilisi. Dinner. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 7 TBILISI- BAGRATASHEN - HAGHPAT– DILIJAN – SEVAN
Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Drive to Georgia-Armenia border. After border formalities (max. 30 min), start the Armenian part of the tour. Drive to Alaverdi and visit Haghpat medieval monastery (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Drive to Dilijan, a resort town renowned for its charming nature and extraordinary architecture. Visit the historical district of Old Dilijan, the Sharambeyan street. Drive to Sevan. Check into hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Sevan.
Day 8 SEVAN – SELIM PASS – ZORATS QARER - GORIS
Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Visit monastery of Sevanavank on Sevan peninsula. Via Selim pass continue to Goris. On the way stop at Selim Caravanserai. Continue to Goris. One way stop for visiting Zorats Karer (knows also as a Karahunj) ancient observatory of megalithic epoch. Check into a hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Goris.
Day 9 GORIS – TATEV – NORAVANK – KHOR VIRAP - YEREVAN
Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Drive to one of the most beautiful and impressive places in Armenia, the Tatev monastery. Take the cable car “Wings of Tatev” from Halidzor to Tatev («Wings of Tatev» is the longest 5.7 km non stop aerial tram in the world, included in the Guinness Records book). Drive to the masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture, the Noravank monastery (13th-14th centuries). Stopover for wine tasting at the local Areni winery with tasting of different types of grape and fruit wines. Drive to Khor Virap
